Gold Necklaces
We love to buy gold necklaces that are made by high-end jewelry manufacturers. We determine the price of your gold necklace based on the karat, weight and current price of gold. So, if you have a gold necklace that is 24 karats, we’re ready to give you a good price for it.
Our prices are negotiable, and we’re open to paying more if you walk in with a gold necklace from a high-end designer. We will offer a fair price for your necklace and we will adjust the price for pieces that are in high demand.
Silver Necklaces
Many silver necklaces come with gemstones embedded in the centerpiece or on the chain. We can buy the entire necklace based on the market value of the silver. The price is determined by the quality and weight of the silver. You can find the purity of the silver engraved as three numbers on the necklace, usually 925 for sterling silver near the clasp of the chain. If you can’t find 925 anywhere on the chain, a stamp of “Sterling” means the same thing. Silver from across the globe may also have numbers like 800 or 900 stamped on them. Those numbers also describe the purity of the piece. We offer premium prices for designer brand jewelry like David Yurman, Tom Hardy, Taxco, Tiffany and William Henry.
Platinum Necklaces
A platinum necklace may look like white gold or silver. But platinum is a precious metal that’s far more valuable than silver, although it may not always be more expensive than gold. If you have a platinum necklace, you will almost always see an engraving of PLAT, PT, or Platinum engraved on it. The purity of the Platinum may also be engraved with three numbers which are normally 950. We’ll give you a fair price for your platinum necklace based on the quality, weight and present market value of the metal.
