Loose Gemstones We Deal In

Instead of shopping at a retail jewelry store for loose gemstones, we offer the same high-value gems at a fair, low price. We carefully assess and evaluate all of the gemstones we buy, sell or pawn. No matter if you’re trying to purchase an aquamarine or pawn an emerald, all of our prices are negotiable.

We deal in an array of loose gemstones, including:

  • Diamond: Loose diamonds are most often used for engagement rings. These sparkling gemstones come cut and polished and can be used alone or paired with other gemstones.
  • Ruby: With their bold, radiant red color, rubies add a striking touch to all kinds of jewelry pieces. While most rubies have a deep red hue, these gemstones can also have pink, orange or purple tints.
  • Emerald: Emeralds come from the beryl family and are beloved for their lush green appearance. This gemstone typically has a medium to medium dark hue, with the deeper shades being more valuable.
  • Aquamarine: Aquamarine is a variety of beryl and has a refreshing look when used in everything from rings to necklaces. Just like the name suggests, the color ranges from a blue-green to a greenish-blue hue, depending on the stone.
  • Sapphire: Sapphires come in all colors except for red. The most popular color for this rich gemstone is a royal blue shade. If a sapphire comes in any color but this traditional blue, it’s usually referred to as a “fancy” sapphire.
  • Topaz: A topaz traditionally has a warm, yellow hue. These gemstones can be treated to achieve a variety of other shades, such as pink or blue.
  • Amethyst: Amethyst is a type of purple quartz. This richly-hued gemstone can range from a light violet shade to a deep purple, depending on the stone and the lighting. Some can even feature multiple color variants within the same stone.
  • Opal: Opals can simulate all kinds of colors of the rainbow. With their kaleidoscopic effect, these gemstones are both elegant and eye-catching.

    Mia I.

My husband picked up our engagement rings from here, best day of my life. thanks route 50 for the great selection. I was very pleased

    Brad B.

The guys were really honest and straight with me. I went to other shops in the area such as jewelry exchange of tysons and got much much worse treatment. Other places you find either stuck-up trashy people, or extremely rude cut-throats. These guys were regular, nice, and fair; explaining the process to me and how buying/selling and pawning things work. I’d recommend them to a friend.

    Michelle P.

Never disappointed. Excellent customer service, very friendly. Very clean store. Great selections.
